Best Overall: Pullman New Delhi Aerocity
Just a few hundred feet from the Aerocity metro station with easy access to the airport and city center, Pullman New Delhi Aerocity is one of the best luxury business-plus-leisure hotels in the area. Its sleek, modern interiors feature glass, polished wood, and burnished metal while its 270 rooms are done up in plush teal and gold, and come with flat-screen TVs, Bose sound systems, and espresso makers. For solo female travelers, the hotel offers female-only service staff, and there are a few rooms geared towards differently-abled guests.
With six restaurants and bars, you need not even step outside your hotel. Pluck serves global cuisine and has a Tea Deli with local and international teas, as well as an in-house farm. Try pan-Asian delicacies at Honk (which transforms into a pulsating club post 11:30 PM), relax in the Pling lounge bar, or play a round of golf on the simulator at the Quoin sports bar. Relax at the Woo Spa and Salon with nourishing treatments or practice yoga with a skilled trainer. And before you leave, don’t miss the regular exhibitions at Artists’ Playground.
Best Budget: Hotel Delhi Aerocity
Tripadvisor Delhi India
With just 20 rooms, Hotel Delhi Aerocity is one of the smallest hotels near the Delhi airport, but its clean and spacious rooms are a great option for the budget traveler or those who need only a short transit stay. Though the hotel’s name includes ‘Aerocity,' it’s actually located a bit outside the development. That said, it’s just three miles from the airport and taxis can be easily arranged from the hotel. The stay also offers shuttle transfers at an additional cost, and the Aerocity metro station is a mere seven-minute walk away.
Rooms here are done up with textured wallpaper and vibrant turquoise accents. Both the deluxe and super-deluxe rooms come with king-size beds, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, en-suite bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi. Super-deluxe rooms include breakfast, tea/coffee-making facilities, and a work desk and chair. The hotel’s multi-cuisine Bar-Be-Que restaurant is open round the clock and room service is available for 24 hours as well. Most guests rave about the quality of food here as well as the service levels.
Best for Romance: The Roseate
Less than five miles from the airport, The Roseate is a luxury resort in an urban setting, with eight acres of greenery — that's more than a thousand mature trees — and water bodies. The architecture is a standout feature, with a regal, columned veranda paying homage to Delhi’s Mughal past, while bronze meshwork in the lobby adds a contemporary touch. The resort offers 65 rooms done up in neutral colors with burgundy accents. Every room either overlooks the surrounding lush gardens or tranquil water bodies. The pool view rooms have high, dome-shaped ceilings, sunken bathtubs, and 130-square-foot private pool decks.
The resort offers three dining options — Kiyan, an al-fresco restaurant serving European and world cuisine, the Chinese restaurant Chi Ni helmed by a Michelin-trained chef, and the IAH bar where inventive cocktails are paired with Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Pamper yourself at the Aheli Spa where you can choose from a menu of Ayurvedic, Thai, and European therapies or work out in the glass box gym. The spa has a 335-foot swimming pool as well as a steam room and Jacuzzi.
Best Boutique: Andaz Delhi
Though part of the Hyatt chain, Andaz Delhi has a boutique feel with its contemporary, Scandi-chic ambiance, warm service, and unique, Delhi-inspired art pieces which adorn the walls of all 401 rooms and suites. All rooms have open-plan bathrooms with walk-in showers and bathtubs, as well as locally inspired toiletries, robes, and slippers. Many rooms look out over the runway and offer an excellent vantage point to watch the aircrafts taking off.
AnnaMaya, the European-style all-day food hall serves consciously sourced produce from local artisanal vendors in a mix of Indian and international cuisines. The Juniper Bar is perhaps the coolest in Aerocity — pop in for a sundowner or entertain friends in its stylish ambiance as you sip on one of 35 stylized gin and tonic infusions. You can also head to The Hong Kong Club, a multi-level space featuring a bar, a club, and a lounge, done up in dramatic modern Chinese interiors. Raise a toast with a Chinese Zodiac inspired cocktail or try their extensive range of single malt whiskey and bourbon.
Best for Luxury: Roseate House New Delhi
A sister hotel of The Roseate, Roseate House is one of the most luxurious hotels near the Delhi airport, with 216 spacious rooms (including 15 suites) with city, garden, or runway views. Rooms sport a contemporary design, four-fixture bathrooms, and a flexible workstation. You’ll be spoiled for choice with some excellent dining options like DEL, the all-day world cuisine bistro with both indoor and alfresco seating, and Kheer, an Indian fine-dining restaurant with interiors designed by Tokyo’s Studio Glitt. The plush Chidiya Ghar bar — done up in wood and indigo — has a classy retro feel to it, while Tara is the rooftop Japanese lounge serving a range of maki rolls and grills.
The rooftop infinity pool is the perfect place to relax with great views of the airport. Alternatively, the Aheli Spa has a range of therapies designed to pamper you — try the Ayurvedic or Balinese massage, a reflexology session, or a unique yoga therapy. The hotel also has an ultra-chic 4K cinema hall with plush reclining chairs and superb surround sound and picture quality; the hall hosts daily events including film screenings, theater, and book readings.
Best for Singles: ibis New Delhi Aerocity
With 445 rooms (including one for guests with reduced mobility), ibis New Delhi Aerocity is one of the largest hotels near the Delhi airport. Rooms here have a contemporary design, are soundproof, and come with the brand's signature Sweet Bed which offers a high-tech mattress that adapts to the pressure points of your body. The hotel also offers a few options in AccorHotels’ unique “My Room” concept, where the rooms are uniquely done up by employees to reflect their personal tastes, so you may get a chance to stay in a Bollywood-inspired room.
Guests rave about the Great Indian Breakfast at the Spice It restaurant, which has extended breakfast hours from 4 AM to noon in order to accommodate travelers. Apart from Indian cuisine, you will also find Asian and European flavors on offer. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner service as well. The Hub is a relaxed space for lounging and snacking, and it also serves drinks from midday onwards.
Best for Families: Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport
Located in close proximity to both the domestic and international terminals of the Delhi airport and shopping malls like DLF Promenade, Emporio, and Worldmark, the Holiday Inn New Delhi offers 265 rooms and suites. Accommodations are spacious, contemporary in design, done up in soothing neutrals, and come with triple-glazed windows, tea/coffee-making facilities, en-suite bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi. If needed, the hotel can also provide an extra children’s bed or crib upon request.
Viva is Holiday Inn’s vibrant, multi-cuisine restaurant with a lively show kitchen that serves Indian and international fare in a brightly lit dining room. Viva Deli is a great place to chill out with snacks or high tea, and kids will love their extensive pastry selection. Another guest favorite is Bella Italia, the first outlet of the UK chain in India, a colorful, space with quirky wall art and authentic Italian fare for lunch and dinner. Relax at the outdoor pool or head to Lea Spa & Salon for an indulgent therapy or a makeover. Other facilities include a well-equipped gym and a sauna.

The hotel also offers studios and one-bedroom apartments for longer stays; both include kitchenettes, club lounge access, and one-way airport transfer.
The hotel’s multi-cuisine restaurant, The Nook, has a plentiful breakfast buffet or you can opt for a grab-and-go breakfast if you're on your way out the door. The hotel offers basic business services, ten event and meeting spaces, and two breakout rooms. Complimentary on-site parking and valet parking are available. After a long day, relax at Splash, the hotel’s infinity pool located on the second floor, or hit the small but rather well-equipped gym, Re:Charge to keep up with your fitness routine.
